Who we are
Jennifer Yoder began her work with older adults as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and co-founder of Sierra Home Transitions in 2022. She quickly found her passion in helping seniors transition to senior living communities. She wanted to put her knowledge of the senior space and connections in the community with local and state leaders to work for the benefit, and protection, of seniors and was appointed to the Board of the California Senior Alliance in 2024. Jennifer's grandmother passed from complications of Alzheimer's, she watched her family struggle to find resources and to care for her beloved Mimi and wants to walk other families through the challenges of finding care for their loved ones. Jennifer graduated from CSU Sacramento with a BA in Political Science in 1993, and served as a Capitol staffer and as the Director of Government & Professional Affairs for the California Pharmacists Association before becoming a mother to her four adult children.
